importing events from facebook

Hi All,
I sent a note a little while back asking about progress on the problem.

“[Private] Suggestions for how to get around the Facebook Events Aggregator problem?”

I got a reply that you all were interested, I shared my ideas, and I’m asking for an update. I’ve checked the update page for this problem and I don’t see anything new.

Can you give me any sort of update on the effort to get facebook events back into our calendars?

For example: Is there any kind of workaround where we can export RSS feeds from a website and import them into some sort of format like ICS?

Thanks for following up.

We have submitted and heard initially that they are processing our requests. However, 11 weeks have passed awaiting Facebook’s approval.
