ParticipantHi guys,
I’ve noticed a little bug…
All events that I’d created before the v4 upgrade with the option ‘Sticky in Month View’ selected, were gone in the Month View after the upgrade!! Disabling this option and saving it did not bring it back!
Here is what I found to be the solution: Just create a new Event with this option selected and all previous events with this option will be back again.
@EventTribe, is this something you guys could fix for any of the users not getting this message? Or am I the only one with this issue?

ParticipantHoly crap… I just removed the test event I created to fix this, and all previous events with this option selected are gone again!
I just found out as well that creating any random new event without this option selected fixes the issue as well.
I have created a new test page and have hidden it from event views, this keeps the issue fixed…

MemberHI,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
I tried to recreate this issue, but it still worked for me.
Here is what I did.
I loaded the Events Calendar 3.12.6 and created a couple sticky events and regular events.
I checked and they showed on the front end.
I then updated to 4.0
Viewing the front end again I could still see the events.
Is that basically what you believe you have done as well?
I have not seen other reports of this, but that does not mean it is not happening either so I am on the look out for it.
Let me know about those steps and we can go from here.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Yes, what you are describing is basically what I did. I created all events about a month ago and usually have no need to add new events for a couple of months. I performed the upgrade and right aferwards I noticed the missing events.
I don’t know what I can provide more to help out with any research into this issue. Please let me know what you need and I’ll try to provide that information 🙂

MemberHi,
I am not seeing any other reports of this and not able to reproduce.
So first question is do you have any custom coding for the events calendar in your theme?
And if so does removing it help?
If that does not help the next step is to please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.
Let me know what you find out thanks.

ParticipantHi Brian,
My main concern was warning potential other people having this issue. As you’ve said, there have been no reports from other users, so this might have been a freak accident… As long as I keep my test event alive, the events with ‘sticky in month view’ selected remain visible.
For me, that is good enough for now. If you want more data to crunch on to see where this is going wrong, let me know. For now, I don’t want to spend the energy on this to test for conflicts if I’m the only one having the issue. Again, if I’m the only one, my energy spent wouldn’t help others and there appears to be no need for it at the moment.
Cheers,

MemberOk sounds good.
I think we are good now, but I may contact you about your offer if we get more reports of this.
Thanks Again
