ParticipantHi Nico,
I have been through the Testing For Conflicts guide with the site, and even after I’ve changed the theme to 2016 and deactivated all plugins other than The Events Calendar I’m still not seeing the address in the expected locations.
I was also able to test importing a sample event with full venue information, and my result was the same both times (tested before and after conflict testing).
Thanks,
Bobbie

MemberHey Bobbie! Thanks so much for doing the conflicts test, now we know no other plugins (or the theme) are interfering here.
Can you please let me know about this question before we continue to look into this?
If you create a new event in the site with a venue with full address information, is it shown correctly in the front-end of the site?
Hopefully this will reveal if this is related to imports or if it’s just something that changed sitewide.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Nico,
I was mucking around with the theme on the dev site I set up and with the default theme enabled I do see an address in the places I want when I add a new event and on all of the events in the events page. So it seems this is a theme issue. Is it possible the theme is pulling from a different template, or a CSS issue? Where do you normally start with this sort of thing?
Thanks,
Bobbie

MemberHey Bobbie,
Thanks for looking into that! Great catch 🙂
To continue the troubleshooting of the issue and see where this is coming from, open you theme (and child theme if any) and check if there’s a folder called ‘tribe-events’. In case that folder exists that indicates the theme is overriding templates from The Events Calendar. If that’s the case try changing the folder name (to for example ‘_tribe-events’) and check on the front-end how it looks. If there’s no ‘tribe-events’ folder or changing it’s name doesn’t yield any results then it’s most probably a CSS rule from the theme stylesheet what’s affecting the venue address display. If this is the case, then please send me the staging site URL and I’ll check there if I can find the CSS hiding this.
Best,
NicoPS: sorry for the delay, support was off during the holidays and we are still catching up!
