KeymasterHello Guido,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry you are having this issue.
Could you please:
- share your system information and
- some feeds that you are having an issue with?
Thanks!
We are already investigating this issue.
It would be great help if you could test the following 2 scenarios:
- deactivate Events Calendar Pro and check if the images are importing
- Roll back to these versions (at the same time) and check if the images are importing
- The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1
- Events Calendar Pro 4.4
You can find these earlier versions in your account under downloads.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Guido,
I’m happy to hear that it’s working well.
Absolutely, that’s totally possible! I would suggest overriding the [template-name.php] template to make that happen. You can learn more about overriding calendar templates in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this if you want to modify the photo view:
- Make a copy of the single-event.php template. It is located at wp-content\plugins\events-calendar-pro\src\views\pro\photo\
- Make a new folder in your theme called tribe-events
- Make a new folder in that one called [your-theme]/tribe-events/pro/photo/
- Drop your copied single_event.php file in that last folder
Now that the template is in your theme, you can modify it to suit your needs. In this case remove line 52, which should look like this:
<?php echo tribe_events_get_the_excerpt() ?>If you want, you can also remove the line before and the line after it.
Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to post a quick note here that we have published a new Maintenance Release today that should restore the Event Aggregator that lets Facebook event images get imported as “Featured Images” into WordPress.
You can read about the details of this release here → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-3-3-event-tickets-4-3-3-premium-plugins/
I hope this update helps!
