ParticipantIt seems that there is an error from your plugin that has my site shut down?
HELP?
Here’s what I see:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tribe_is_community_my_events_page() (previously declared in /home/content/43/10219043/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/query.php:67) in /home/content/43/10219043/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/functions/template-tags.php on line 13
Anyone!?

MemberGood evening Gary and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that you were locked out of your website. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing that you need to do is to disable the Community Events plugin (there is something that is not working with it on your installation).
If you cannot access your WordPress backend, you will need FTP or File manager access.
Go over to /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events and rename the folder to something like /wp-content/plugins/z_the-events-calendar-community-events
That should disable the plugin and give you your site back.
Once you have logged back in, you can change the folder name back to it’s correct name.
After that, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Can you also tell me which version of Community Events you are using. We need to make sure its version matches the one of the Events Calendar. Otherwise, things will break.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantGeoff – thanks for your help!
I don’t see a check box option on the page. Here’s a screen shot. What am I doing wrong? I renamed the folder zz_[path to the folder] and was able to login to the back of my site and my site is back up and running (including your plugin).
Your plugin is “not activated” in my WP Dashboard. How is it still working? FYI – when I try and activate it, my site crashes and throws an error message similar to the one I posted in the help forum you answered.
send me an direct email? you guys should have my email addy there in the system…
please advise – – –

ParticipantUPDATE: I found the open field for support on a different menu option in my WP-Dashboard and placed a tick mark in the option for sharing my system information. You guys should have access now?

MemberGood evening Gary and thank you for writing back.
Thank you for the extra information.
Actually the checkbox for system information will only kick-in the next time you contact us.But it’s no biggie, I have found the cause of the issue.
What is going on is that you are using The Events Calendar: Community Events v 3.12
This is an un-matching version with the Events Calendar 4.3.1.1, which causes the crash.
You can simply manually update that plugin by downloading it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
That should fix everything.
Let me know how that goes.
