iCal Import Problems

Hi,

I am having 3 issues I need help with.

1. When I go to import via iCal, nothing happens (the spinner just spins) and then the whole site goes down. Either the site times out, or just never loads, so I then have to manually stop the import.

2. I have a few calendar entries that span multiple days, is there a way to have this shown on the calendar after importing?

3. I have the iCal importer set to import daily, but that is not happening. Is there something I am doing incorrectly?

Hey Jennifer,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m sorry to hear you’re having troubles with our plugin.

1. For this one, can you verify that you’ve followed the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict with an existing plugin or theme? If so, you can also turn WP_DEBUG on in your site’s wp-config.php file and see if any additional information is output with the failed imports.
2. The multiday events should display on the calendar. Once successfully added, are the events not showing on the associated dates?
3. If the import is failing, the scheduled imports will most likely fail for the same reasons. Once we get to the bottom of that first issue it should address this one.
