Allison
ParticipantHi,
I have several Events Calendars and all ical feeds are working well, except for one. If I try to open it – nothing. When I put the feed through a validator I am told “The provided feed didn’t return valid ics data”.
Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks.

MemberHi there Allison,
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue… I’ll help you getting it right!
To start off can you send me the feed URL? I would like to verify the output of the feed.
Also, I see you marked that you have tested for conflicts, can you please confirm this?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantSuper double confirmed that it was tested for conflicts. Url: http://dundeehills.org/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=list
If I didn’t grab the right url, you can find it here:
Thanks.

MemberHey Allison,
Thanks for following up! I’ve just imported the feed successfully to a test Google Calendar.
Which was the program you were trying to open the feed with? Also which validator are you using?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantHello Nico,
I’m trying to pull the feed into All in One Events Calendar by Time.ly. I am able to pull in 3 other Events Calendar feeds (two Pro, one free), and I am having no issues. This is the only one giving me issue.

MemberThanks for clarifying Allison! Can you please send me the address of another feed so I can look into the generated code and see if there’s any difference?
Sorry for the back and forth on this, but on the top of my head I cannot think of what might be causing this, specially knowing that other The Events Calendar event feeds are importing as expected.
Thanks for the patience while we figure out what can cause this,
Best,

MemberHey Allison,
Thanks for sending that over! Just wanted to give you a quick heads up on this: I’m taking a look at the feeds and will follow-up shortly on my findings…

ParticipantHey Allison,
Thank you for sharing these links and for your patience here—we are getting different results from what you report and have been able to, for example, import the feed that doesn’t validate for you.
You say, “If I try to open it – nothing.”
However, for example, the link you shared (http://oregonwine.org/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=list) is chock full of valid events:
If you try importing this specific file/feed into another application, like iCal, do you have issues?
This step is the best one I can recommend. If the only problems are with that Time.ly importer/calendar, then this may be a bug specific to that software.
Let us know what you find!
Thanks,

ParticipantYou asked for an example of another feed that was working so you could compare the two. The feed you looked at is working, which is why it has valid results. The other feed still does not work.
