ParticipantI know this has been a reoccurring question, I have searched the forums and found the solutions. However I am a bit less savvy than most I guess. Where do I make the changes and add the code to customize your site’s iCal feed?
I know the code to add is located here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ical-export-entire-calendar/#post-1088880
Just wanted to see if you could direct where to make these changes.

MemberHi Eric. Thanks for linking there. Instead of using that code snippet, here’s an installable .zip file (install it at your Plugins screen) that adds two URLs:
- example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=recently-published
- example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year
The first is useful when folks are trying to use the iCal importer to pull events from one website to another. It will contain any recently published or modified events. Note: It is subject to the postsperpage setting in WP-Admin > Events > Settings.
The second exports this year’s events (from January through December).
Let me know if this plugin works for you.

ParticipantThis solution worked perfectly, had a questions that hopefully isn’t too nit picky. But is there a way to pull the next two years? (This and the next?)

MemberI’m very glad you appreciated it!
You’re welcome to try extending that plugin for your specific use case; it should be easy to change the date range.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi there!
Just wanted to share with you that a major release of our plugins is out, which now extends the range of events included in the iCal export buttons of the site 🙂
