ical button starts new calendar in outlook

I have the same problem as this person

Clicking on "+ ICAL EXPORT" creates new calendar in outlook

would like to be notified as updates on this become available. I would have just commented on link above but it’s closed.

There is this plugin that might fix the issue for you:

I do not have a timeline about if or when we might make this change to the plugin itself.
