ParticipantHi-
This thread was marked closed, but the issue persists:
I updated to the latest releases, but that didn’t do anything. I tried to re-import the calendar, but it indicated that none of the record were updated.
Is there something else I should be doing?
Thanks.

ParticipantHi-
I have the same issue, I deleted the events in the database, reinstalled the plugin, tried with Timezone Los Angeles and UTC-8, this is weird because some events have the correct time but most of them have +8 hours.
The website was supposed to go live tomorrow, my client is really unhappy.
Thank you,

ParticipantHowdy Guys,
Sorry for that thread being closed prematurely. We are refining our process there based on feedback. Definitely don’t mean to inconvenience you.
Good call trying to reimport the calendar. I think that may still be the solution, but we need to do a tiny bit of prep on your site before rerunning the import. Could you try adding this function to your theme’s functions.php file?

What that will do is allow you to truly delete iCal events. You can remove it when we are done. With that in place though, can you delete one or more of the events with the timezone shift? Now try running the import again. This should now create some “new” events that are actually the ones you just deleted. Do they have the same problem?
Cheers!

ParticipantI added the code to my functions file and tried deleting the events from the WP admin area. I got the “error moving to trash” page.
I tried deactivating the events and iCal plugin, and got a server error. Removing the above code from the functions, I was able to restore access to the site. I can’t say if it’s related or not. I’ve been having other issues with the server.
I did see that the events were deleted despite the error message. Having reactivated both plugins, and setting up the import again, when I ran it, it found 10 items but didn’t save or update them.
Now, when I go the the events page, I am getting a 404 error as well.

ParticipantSaving the Events plugin settings again solved the 404 issue.

ParticipantOh wow, sorry for the hiccup there. It sounds like it is working now.
Now that the 404 is gone were you able to try reimporting those 10 events. Are they the proper time?
Thanks for working with me on this. hopefully we are nearly at a solution for ya.
