    I have been using free version for over a year. I purchased the pro version today but when I go to settings it says key is invalid.

    This is the error it gives me: “There is a new version of Event Aggregator available but your license key is invalid. View what’s new with version 1.0. Visit the Events Calendar website to check your licenses.”

    I have tried to reenter it several times but it gives the same error.

    We are sorry to hear about the challenges you have faced after purchasing Pro.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    By the sound of it, I believe you will need to first download the Events Calendar Pro and install it on top of the Events Calendar free.

    Once activated, you should get a spot to enter your Pro license key. Currently, there is only one for Event Aggregator on your install, hence the message.
