    I didn’t get any Zip-File after the download – it looks like this:

    events-calendar-pro.php
    lang
    license.txt
    readme.txt
    src
    vendor

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear that somehow the .zip file you downloaded was automatically unzipped.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The simple solution would be to select the folder all these files are located in and zip it back up: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14200/windows-compress-uncompress-zip-files

    If you have access to an FTP client, you could also upload the complete folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder.

    Doris,

    The installation files in the downloads section of your account are zipped. However the browser that you are using may be extracting them after they download.

    If you are using Safari, you can disable this behavior by doing the following in Safari:

    1 – Open Safari
    2 – Click Preferences
    3 – Under the General tab, uncheck the option “Open “safe” files after downloading”

    Retry the download from your account.

    Alternatively you could use another browser, such as Firefox to download the plugin.

    As Geoff mentions, you could re-zip the files and upload it. I would not recommend doing this on a Mac using the default right-click compress method. It will add hidden resource forks that are unnecessary and clutter things up. It’s a Mac thing.

    Good evening Doris,

    Mathew is correct on all counts.

    With that in mind, cmd+click on the folder to Compress it into a .zip file on a Mac does add a few extra files. But nothing harmful (in case you want to use that option).

    Dear Mathew & Geoff,

    I tried both ways (right Mouse and Preferences) and the Installation worked.

    BUT: I can’t see the new Plug-in in my left sidebar to get into the preferenes. there is nothing but the Plug-in aktivated in “Installed Plugins” …. 🙁

    I am glad to hear you are making progress.
    With that in mind, can you review the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/

    I am wondering if you did also install our free the Events Calendar plugin.
    The reason I am asking is because the Events Calendar Pro extends the Events Calendar, it does not replace it.

    Therefore, you will need to have both plugins active for things to work.

    the enfold.coaching…. – plugin is deactivatet … unfortunetely it does not work 🙁

    Why is it not possible to send me a new key?
