I can't import my google calendar

I keep getting this error when I follow the instructions:

The URL provided did not have events in the proper format.

Hey Erin,

Welcome to our premium plugin support forums. Do you get the same result when you export the calendar from Google as an .ics file and import the .ics file using Event Aggregator? (see screenshot below)

Before I’m permitted to test the behavior myself, you’ll need to review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you find out. If you still experience the error, include the Google Calendar link and I’ll test to see if I get the same issue.

It still gives me an error, but it’s a different one:

The file provided could not be opened. Please confirm that it is a properly formatted .ics file.

I think I figured it out… the calendar was empty and the plugin didn’t like it. Does that sound like a possibility?

Thank you for the update. Yes, the errors you’re experiencing are most likely due to the fact the calendars you’re attempting to import from are blank. Try adding an event, then test to see if it gets imported correctly.
