ParticipantHi,
In reference to my previous thread which has been closed I am having trouble clicking the “view my tickets” link with Avada. See previous thread here
I have contacted Avada who have said the issue is with The Events Calendar and they have contacted yourselves but have had no reply.
I have copied their email reply to me to help resolve this issue. Sorry start reading the emails from the bottom! I have commented out the lines in question that they suggest but although it does now take me to a page where I can see my order the format is very basic. But at least it works. Can someone help urgently please I want to launch my site next week 🙁

Hey Kieran,The reason it works with the default WordPress theme is because they don’t have a template override for the single events page. Technically you could delete this file from the Avada theme and the link would work, but you would lose the styling added by our custom template. The issue is the way Modern Tribe are detecting the single events page, we’re calling the hook from a different file and they aren’t taking that into account at the moment.
Let me know if they get back to you.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan,I have a thread open on Modern Tribe I will bump to see if I get any reply.
The plugin works with the default WordPress theme so I’m not 100% certain it’s a modern tribe issue as you suggest. But I will go back to them and see

Hey Kieran,
As far as I am aware, there is still no reply from Modern Tribe about this issue. For the record, the issue is not with Avada, but the Events Calendar plugin. It has this condition:
https://github.com/moderntribe/event-tickets/blob/develop/src/Tribe/Tickets_View.php#L343-L345
Which doesn’t work with template overrides. Even if we copied the default single-event.php template file to the Avada theme as an override, the same issue would occur. We’ve notified Modern Tribe, but it’s up to them to resolve this issue in their plugin, we can’t do it for them. In the meantime, you may wish to try commenting those lines out of your installation of the Events Calendar and see if it resolves the issue, at least until Modern Tribe get around to patching the issue.
Thanks!
