    Hi people!
I’d like to know how to allow only moderatos to submit new events/calendars from the frontend.

Actually, post new events from a form in the frontend.
    Not from Dashboard.
If this plugin only allows other users post from Dashboard, there is no reason to pay $89 if I can use a free plugin to set roles for a specific group of users and allow them to post from Dashboard.
Obviously charging only for this feature when it is possible to do it for free with other plugins would be very dishonest.
But I can’t find any form to allow the users to post.

Good afternoon Jeff and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to find the front-end posting functionality.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing you should know is that you will need the following 2 plugins to be installed and activated:

    1. the Events Calendar
    2. Community Events

Secondly, please go through the following guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-events/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good morning Jeff,

I was informed that you did ask for a refund in the end.
I am sorry we could not help you out and wish you the very best in your projects.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time.

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Geoff B.
