How to not have week view events overlapping?

Hi,

I’m a web designer and I’m using the Events Calendar Pro to set up my client’s site. I want use the week view and have several items that are close or overlapping in times. These items (even the ones that aren’t overlapping) are not spanning the full width of the column and are also overlapping each other. How do I make it so that the items show up in order but not overlap and so I can read the entire title of the item in the box? There is more available room than the boxes are taking up at this point, it seems.

Basically what you are seeing is how it’s supposed to work. If overlapping items would show at full width then it wouldn’t be possible to hover the bottom one, as the above would be covering it completely (assuming they occupy the exact same timeslot). Does this makes sense?

Can you show me a quick mock of how you would like this to show? Maybe I can help you out with some CSS code, although we do not support styling customizations.

Is it possible that time row height can be increased and second overlapping event will come under 1st one or any other solution?

Thanks for following up Kaan, but I’m afraid that’s not an easy customization to deal with 🙁

I can see the issue in your site but unfortunately there’s no easy way of changing how the view works. Do you think maybe using the mini calendar shortcode or even month view instead of week view?

Maybe diving events into categories to show just one at the time on the view? Have you tried using category colors plugin?
