If I have Events Calendar Pro running on a live site … and it is using my License Key….

How do I manually install the updated plug-in on my test site? (I have had issues in the past with it dropping widgets and styles and would like to test before updating on Live site)

Since I am already using the Events Calendar Pro Plug-in…would I have to deactivate it and then upload the Events Calendar Pro Plugin again?

Wouldn’t I then lose all the settings I have in the existing Events Calendar Pro Plug-in?

I’m a bit confused …. could you clarify the steps to take updating to the from 3.11.1 to 3.12.6? Right now my test site does not even realize that the Events Calendar Pro Plug-in using 3.11.1 … and it does not give me an update option.

    I appreciate your help.

    Hey David,

Thanks for reaching out on this! Hopefully there’s an article explain how to Move your license keys from the live site to the staging instance. I guess that’s the best way to achieve this, another way would be to download the plugin ZIP and manually update it.

Please let me know if you still have doubts on this after going through the articles,
    Best,
    Nico
