How to display day of week for event

Hi guys,

Two questions…
1. How can I ensure the day of the week is also displayed on the event details?
2. I have gone to Events –> Setting –> Display –> Default View = list but still my page only display on photo view. I cannot change from photo view.

First, thank you for being very clear in what you’ve tried. That is so helpful!

Now to adjust your date display 🙂

WordPress specifies the way to call for the day of the week at https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time.

The method to include this will be:

l, F j

You’ll want to go to Events » Settings » Display » Date without year to enter this.

Yes – that worked thanks.
But, the first question was not answered, and that was, how to I set the
display to be MONTH – because it keeps defaulting to the Photo view even
after I set it to Month view. So, unless I turn off all the other options,
is continues to display Photo view (event if i select Month)

Hello Sarah

Does this same thing happen when you disable all other plugins and use a default theme? See our Testing for Conflicts guide for more help with this.

Also, can you send me a link to the calendar on this? I visited your site with the calendar option in the menu link, and tried /events and didn’t find the page.
