How to add read more to photo view excerpts

I have used the code from here in photo view, but either is showing outside the normal area or I get a php error.

Please try emptying your cache and re-check.

Hi,
Meanwhile I found a coleague who has more skills than me so he idetified
the correct file where to add the piece of code. It was the single-event
file where the wrap class was mentioned, and not the content or the loop.
Issue solved, you can close the ticket.

Happy to hear you managed to solve it!

I apologize, from your opening post it wasn’t fully clear to me what was needed. But indeed you found THE way to do it. This is what I would have recommended as well.

Just a note, in case you didn’t do so, it is recommended to do a template override, instead of modifying the core template file, because the core file will be overwritten with a plugin update. You can read more details about the template overrides in our Themer’s Guide.

(Basically you need to make a copy of the template file in wp-content/themes/[your-theme]/tribe-events folder and make the modifications there.)
