ParticipantMy event organizer was concerned that 2106 appeared in the Ticket #s being assigned by Event Tickets Plus. For example a recent Ticket # was 2016SF-1088-J67GCV for our September 8, 2018 Shrimp Feast. Is there a way to change the first four digits of the Ticket #s

KeymasterHi Rolf,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You should be able to manually set the ticket SKUs when you are creating the ticket. Here’s a screenshot on where you can do this: https://cloudup.com/c-H4VXFz26c
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantJaime,
I was not asking about the ticket SKU numbers but rather the ticket #s that print on the tickets. I have attached an example. Note the number under the heading “TICKET #”.How are these numbers generated? Do i have any control over the numbering scheme?

ParticipantJaime,
I see where the ticket numbers increase (1088, 1089). I am not concerned with that.
2016SF-1088-J67GCV
2016SF-1089-KS5MPYMy question is about the first six characters. Can I change 2016 to 2018?

KeymasterHi Rolf,
Unfortunately those numbers are randomly generated and cannot be changed in the same way. I assure you that the 2016 has nothing to do with the year.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
