How Can I hide current event organizers from Community Events?

GDPR is coming!!

On the Event submission form under the Event organizers section.
New users can view other existing event organizers names.
For GDRP reasons this would cause an issue.

Can I hide exciting existing event organizers details?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for reaching out! We do have a free extension that will hide organizers and venues submitted by other users from the Community Events submission page. With this extension, users will only be shown venues and organizers that they have created. Can you give this a try and let me know if it will work for you?

I’ve added that extension cleared my cache and the 3rd party organizer field is still visible.

Hi Andrew,

I might have misunderstood what you’re looking for here…do you want to remove the organizers field from the community submission form entirely? If so, then you can do this with a template override. The file you’ll want to copy and edit can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/edit-event.php. In your copy, you’ll want to remove the following line:

<?php tribe_get_template_part( 'community/modules/organizer' ); ?>
