Is there an easy way to change the name of the default events page? Currently, our page displays the title tag “Events archive”, and we would like to change to something more appropriate.

Can you take a look at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/altering-or-removing-titles-on-calendar-views/ and see if this works for you?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

Without your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/, I can’t tell for sure, but I think you might be using Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin. Is that correct?
If so, head to SEO Β» Search Appearance Β» Events Β» Title template to alter this.
Thanks

Maybe I have something set differently, but the location to make changes was
SEO>>Search Appearance
Click on the Content Types tab
Scroll down to where it says “Events” and play with the name from there. This was a long time headache. Thanks, Courtney!

I’m so sorry you were dissatisfied with the support. Was any of this related to Yoast SEO?
