ParticipantHi,
I am using Events Calendar PRO for 2 different calendars on a site, one for general events and one for lunch menu items. I am using the default event page/view to show the general events and want to hide the lunch menu items from this calendar. I have been able to achieve this on the list and month view via the category legend, but cannot seem to hide the lunch menu category from the day view.
I found code that would do this, but the problem is that I use the Day View on the separate Lunch Menu calendar and the code below removes it from the Day view there as well. So I am trying to figure out how to hide the category “lunch-menu” from the default calendar DAY view (here http://seniorcenterjh.wpengine.com/events/today/), but NOT hide it from the separate lunch Menu calendar DAY view (here http://seniorcenterjh.wpengine.com/lunch-menu/?tribe_event_display=day). I am using shortcode on that page to display lunch menu category only.
Here is the previous code that removes it from all day views…
Any advice on how to update that code to work properly? Thanks!

MemberGood evening Seadar and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, I would recommend studying the following 2 snippets closely for additional inspiration:
- https://gist.github.com/elimn/c47fb3e65d437c2479bd#file-tribe_exclude_events_category-php
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
