Help re installation

I purchased event calendar and can see in my plugins that it is active. The problem is, eventhough it says active I can still only see the same features from the original version.

I need to be able to edit fields that are currently listed as required and people to be able to add events through the website, but can’t work out how to actually implement the new functions eventhough it is listed as active. Help?

Hi, still having an issue.
Ive attached a screen shot from WordPress so you can see what I do and a screen shot from the actual website.When I go to Events/Settings/Community everything looks ok, except I cant work out the instructions you gave to make the ability to edit a permalink. It just shows List and add but I want them to be able to edit and delete.

You’ll see from the screen shot from my website that the fields all say Required, which I don’t want, and there isn’t a calendar so you can’t add in the date correctly. So that’s why I purchased the add on, but now I can’t make it work.

Also, I’m wanting them to be able to make edits themselves, and the link you sent about permalinks, I tried and it didn’t work.

Can you clarify a bit?

Also, it would be great if you could send me the link where I can see this live? I’m not sure the form you sent in the screenshot is the event form created by Community Events add-on.
