ParticipantHello,
From the website I got the impression that Events Calendar PRO includes community events. Only after I purchased the plugin did I realize it doesn’t š What I really need is the Community Events plugin. Is there any way I can do a plugin “swap”/exchange (I purchased the plugin last night)? Or get a refund and repurchase?
Thanks for understanding!

MemberNo problem, @Surabhi!
I’ve gone ahead and deactivated your Personal license for Events Calendar PRO and exchanged it for a Community Events Personal license.
You can access the new license key by logging into your account on our site and navigating to My Account > License Keys. You will also be able to access a download of Community Events by navigating to the Downloads screen from there.
Let me know if you have any issues accessing your new license key and I’d be happy to help. š
Cheers!

Participanthi Geoff,
I just setup Community Events on my website and am seeing a lot of weird bugs. Most notable is that Iām unable to add new organizer. Iāve tried this both as logged in user and anonymous user. I also posted this here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/unable-to-add-new-organizer-in-submission-form/
last night, we are in bit of a rush, so would really appreciate some assistance with this ASAP. Thanks.Note that adding a new venue seems to work OK.

MemberHiĀ Surabhi,
We’ll certainly get to your thread as soon as we possibly can! I’d prefer to keep this thread to the topic that was originally opened and continue the conversation in your other thread. On that note, did you have any additional questions about exchanging your licenses that I can help with?
In the meantime, here are a couple of troubleshooting tips I would suggest for the other issue, which I would recommend trying and adding to the other thread:
- Check to make sure you are running The Events Calendar 4.3.3 and Community Events 4.3.1. Those are the latest versions of each and will function best when paired together.
- Try switching to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme. If you do not see the same layout issues there, that suggests that the theme styles are conflicting with Community Event styles and those will need to be cleaned up manually. Otherwise, send a screenshot of the broken layout in Twenty Sixteen so we can compare it to our test sites.
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
