ParticipantHello,
I just purchased ECalPro and TicksPlus. I have created a recurring event with one ticket for all events. Is there a way to group the recurrences into one event, instead of an event for every recurrence? It is really annoying to see eight events when it is really one event. A Parent-child relationship would be good. Any mechanism for that?December 5, 2016 at 3:49 am #1201471Nico
MemberHowdy Paul,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us.
Let me start by saying that ticket do not support recurring events. Although it might seems to work, there are some caveats that we cannot support as it’s still not a feature of our plugins.

If you are referring to the back-end, take a look at this knowledge base article → Hide recurring event instances in the admin. On the other hand if you are referring to the front-end of the site, you can hide recurring event instances via setting in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > General > Recurring event instances.
Please let me know if this helps,

ParticipantHi Nico,
This plugin appears to do what I want it to do with recurring events, so no problem there. I was following an article in your support forums (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/courses-with-4-8-weekly-lessons-and-1-fee/) for guidance.
The code snippet in the KB article worked perfectly! That is exactly what I was looking for. I had already found the front-end solution. Is it also possible to remove the “Edit Single” link from the parent listing in the admin list (as not to confuse the admin)?
Thanks for your help!

MemberThanks for following up Paul and stoked to hear this works for you 🙂
To hide the ‘Edit Single’ link you can use the following CSS:
.row-actions .split { display:none; }
Add it to your theme stylesheet or via Simple Custom CSS plugin.
You can also hide all recurring instances if that works better for the site → Hide recurring event instances in the admin.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you,
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
