    Hi there,

    I am researching different plugins to use for a client who runs one off workshops, and weekly classes. I think that Woocommerce + The Events Calendar Pro + Event Tickets Plus is what they need, but I have a question.

    For the weekly classes, customers pay by the term e.g. Kids Art Course has 8 classes over 8 weeks, with 1 fee to cover the whole course. We would like:
    – The 8 classes to show in the events calendar so customers can see what’s happening each week
    – Customer can click on any of these then pay to enrol for the whole course (not individual classes)
    – Client can specify how many places are available on the course e.g. 10 kids. When all the places have been booked it is marked ‘sold out’.

    I understand that The Events Calendar Pro can manage weekly recurring events. But I’m not sure how the inventory / number of places available will be managed when there are 8 recurring events that are actually 1 course. We don’t want them to accidentally take more bookings than there are places available.

    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    I understand that The Events Calendar Pro can manage weekly recurring events. But I’m not sure how the inventory / number of places available will be managed when there are 8 recurring events that are actually 1 course. We don’t want them to accidentally take more bookings than there are places available.

    You are correct about the combination of plugins you will need: Woocommerce + The Events Calendar Pro + Event Tickets Plus

    As it turns out, you are in luck. We currently only support 1 pool of tickets for all recurring events.

    In other words, no matter which recurring event the tickets are bought from, it’s considered as 1 event and 1 global stock.
