ParticipantThe following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11, The Events Calendar: Community Events 1.0.5. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version? I purchased the Event Calendar Pro and Community Events at the end of December, so are there any new updates for them? I don’t see any. How can I fix this? thanks. Lyne–UPDATE: never mind in found the initial email you send me to confirm my purchased and somohow the new updates were there. I have to say that I preferred the other calendar better- could see all of the events per day in the monthly calendar. Also, I am defaulting a City and it does not appear on the form- it stays blank??? and the Event calendar widget is there a way for when you click that it goes to the calendar rather than show a list of daily events below the widget-takes too much room on the page. Thanks.

MemberHi Lyne,
Sorry for the confusion first of all.
We’re definitely open to feedback on the new forum, either here or ideally via UserVoice:

Is this in relation to Community Events – if so could you post a new thread over in the Community Events forum?

It is indeed possible to customize the widget and we’re actually in the process of updating our docs and FAQs to contain the relevant guides.

MemberWell, as it turns out my colleagues have mostly rolled it out already. Our revised-for-3.0 themer’s guide for instance is already accessible:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
If you take a look in there you will see that it also covers which files relate to the new 3.0 widgets.

Participantit doesn’t look like there is one calendar widget just of the calendar like with the old plug in. If I want to modify, I need my designer to play with the coding?

MemberThe number of events that are displayed below the calendar can be changed just by editing the widget: http://d.pr/i/11SH
However, there seems to be a bug which I’ll report and should hopefully be fixed fairly quickly where setting that number to 0 isn’t respected (though other values such as 1 are).
