ParticipantHello,
I have noticed in the last week that Google maps have stopped displaying.
I began following the Testing Tips here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
When attempting to swap from current them to Twenty Fifteen/fourteen theme, I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function responsive_mobile_get_options() in …… /html/clientportal/wp-content/plugins/cyberchimpsoptions/functions.php on line 18
There appears [perhaps??] to be an issue related to the Responsive Mobile Theme
I have contacted Cyberchimps support but also wanting to check if there are any other known issues with Google Maps not displaying? As far as I know this only occurred in the last few days?

ModeratorHi and welcome back!
First off, thanks for running through the Testing for conflicts guide. It’s always the first place to start, so well done 🙂
Based on the information provided, there’s not much assistance I can offer as it pertains to a theme and/or plugin conflict which unfortunately goes beyond the scope we’re able to provide. The conflict could be a product of either changes made on your site or a recent update from us, but we don’t have any logged bugs of users reporting similar issues, so your best bet would be to work with the theme author or hire a developer who specializes in resolving these types of conflicts.
I wish I had a better answer for you but my hands are tied :-/ Best of luck finding a resolution and thank you for choosing PRO. Have an enjoyable rest of your weekend!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
Thanks for the contact. I did neglect to mention that Google Maps are displaying correctly on other parts of my site, such as my main posts page?
You say:
…but we don’t have any logged bugs of users reporting similar issues, so your best bet would be to work with the theme author
I will do this, but just wanted to check again to see if there are any other similar issues of Google maps not displaying?
Regards
Bill

ParticipantHi Bill,
we faced the same issue: after an upgrade of WP core from 4.4x to 4.5 google maps stopped showing up on event template. Hovewer other templates i.e. map view was still ok. We are using Responsive from cyber chimps. Upgrade to Responsive 1.9.8.2 resolved this issue.
Not sure but it seems that there was a conflict between responsive 1.9.8.1 and WP 4.5. Different themes i.e. Genesis were not affected.
Make sure you upgrade responsive mobile theme.
Good luck!
Regards

ModeratorHi to you both!
@Bill – thanks for the follow-up response. Go ahead and try what Marcin has recommended and if that doesn’t work, reach out out to the theme author to see if they have any more insight on the issue. @Marcin – thanks for stepping up! We truly appreciate the cross-support shown on your end, especially since you’re using the same theme!
Thanks to the both of you again and have a good week!

ParticipantHi lacki141,
Thanks for the suggestions. I do have Version: 1.9.8.2 of Responsive on my site and Version: 0.0.8 of Responsive mobile is activated.
I now seem to have a series of conflicts across the site, including other themes not loading in preview which appear [at least in part] to be pointing to the CC Theme.
Time to part ways with cyberchimps… Their support is not a shadow of some of the other groups I use… such as Events Calendar
Thanks for your generous offer of advice. Really appreciated.
Bill
