ParticipantAs the titles states, the GMaps is now showing up on the front-end of our website, on the events page (I promise, the attached link is safe for work despite the URL).
It didn’t work when it was on our developmental server, but I assumed it was because it wasn’t on the correct domain. But after launch of the website (last week), it’s still not working. I do, in fact, have an API key from Google and the domain is verified.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled the plugins on my WordPress site (Events Calendar, Events Tickets, and Events Tickets Plus). And I use the same WordPress theme on another website along with the Events Calendar, and all works well so I don’t believe there is a theme conflict.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I visited your link but it says, “Our site is currently down for maintenance.”
This isn’t currently a confirmed issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Whenever troubleshooting, it’s best to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantApologies Cliff,
I had the “Maintenance Mode” disabled for most of the day hoping you’d get
to the site sooner. I activated it around 6:30pm at my client’s request.I will try those troubleshooting tips asap and get back to you.
Thanks for your time!

MemberThanks for the explanation. I replied within about 6 hours, which is well within our Scope of Support / Terms for time to reply. Please keep this in mind for the future.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

ParticipantSo the “Maintenance Mode” is deactivated full-time now, so there shouldn’t be any issues there.
So did activate the debug mode but there didn’t seem to be anything in there referencing anything with a Google API. However, when I looked at the console I did see this error:
Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API.
Now, I have reached out to Google but am currently waiting for a reply from them. Idk if this is something on their end or the plugin’s. Any ideas how to get the map to show up?
Thanks in advance for your help!

ParticipantUnfortunately, it’s still not showing up. I flushed my browser cache, tried incognito mode, tried on Firefox/Chrome/IE, mobile, and even flushed the cache on cPanel.

MemberInterestingly, on my iMac, it loads fine in Chrome and Safari but not in Firefox.
In Chrome, I don’t see any console errors.
In Safari, the console error is a 404 for https://www.recphilly.com/wp-content/plugins/screets-lcx/assets/js/firebase-database.js.map
In Firefox, I don’t see any console errors.
https://wpshindig.com/event/seattle-beercode/2018-08-01/ (our demo site) loads the map fine in Firefox. Note, however, that our demo site isn’t yet on the latest versions of all our plugins for some internal reason (it will be soon but not this week).
I also couldn’t reproduce the issue on my localhost site in Firefox.
Since we’re not able to replicate the issue and other users aren’t reporting this, I’d recommend troubleshooting possible theme/plugin conflicts.
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-detective/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ may prove helpful (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.
Please let me know what you find out.
