Google Map Error – Generating an API Key

I am seeing an error on my website’s calendar page when I go to Map view. I know it’s because I need to enter a Google API key in the settings. I went to do this, in “Settings > API’s > Google API’s” and clicked the “click here to generate google api” link at the bottom. I generated an API, but I must have done something incorrectly because the issue is not resolved. Do you have clear instructions on how to generate the API or are you able to generate one that will work for this site?

I’d guess you generated a Google Maps API key properly but then deleted it (or the project it’s a part of).

Please generate a new one, use that in your The Events Calendar settings, and let me know how it goes for you.
