Google Calendar creating multiple event

I purchased this today and set it up to import my google calendar. Much to my surprise it look like this plugin does not do what is advertised. I see Google Calendar events duplicate all over the place.

For a close to 100 dollar a year plugin I was expecting this to be stable and fully tested. Is there a fix in progress for this yet or is there a way we can revert to an old plugin since by the sounds of some posts this happened after an update. Can the change be reverted? The site that I have this installed on is a production site so I will not be able to go in a disable all plugins and switch themes. But I am assuming this is not going to solve anything since plenty of people seem to have the same issue.

If there is not a solution for this in the near future are refunds available since I bought this plugin today and the plugin does not work as advertised?

We are aware of this bug, and are very sorry this is happening to quite a few users. We have what we believe is the fix, we expect it to ship soon. We will notify you here as soon as that is available.

Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release (for the Week of 7 August 2017) is out, along with some Event Aggregator server improvements and fixes that solves this issue.
