For the past few years, our website has been using a customized version of Events Calendar Pro. Last year we discovered that the customization were no longer compatible with the newest version of the plugin. We decided to get rid of that plugin, and purchase a new Events Calendar PRO + Community Events Plugin, and just use the standard settings with no customizations. Basically, we wanted to start from scratch.
I followed all of the instructions to install Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and Community Events. When I click on “Calendar” under The Events Calendar on my wordpress plugins page, the Events page says “Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist. It looks like this was the result of either: a mistyped address; an out-of-date link.”
I also noticed that all of the events, venues, etc from our old, customized Events Calendar Pro is still on my wordpress admin page. Even the Community Events form has all of the old information, and I do not know how to update this.
I think what needs to happen is the old programming needs to be removed from our website. Is this something you do??? Or do I need to get a third party programmer involved???
