I wish to make my calendar more attractive.

    QUESTION ONE:

How do I achieve something like this? http://salsalovers.com/
With the date overlay in purple… or the animated photo when hover?

    QUESTION TWO:

How can I make more than three photos appear across the calendar?
    For example: Four across?

Good evening Sarah and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

How do I achieve something like this? http://salsalovers.com/
With the date overlay in purple… or the animated photo when hover?

These are the results of customizations made to the different views of our plugins.

This leaves you with 3 options:

    1. Use the same WordPress theme (that contains these customizations). The theme is called fitness-wellness.
    2. Take a shot of customizing the views yourself. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    3. If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

How can I make more than three photos appear across the calendar?

In this case, the site uses Avada’s integration of our Event Custom post type.
Simply put, these are 4 column rows using “Events” as a source (they could have used blog posts in the same manner).

If you can use some form of page builder (Avada, Visual Composer, Divi, etc..) AND you can set the source to “Events”, you should be good to go.

    The other options are to:

    1. Use widget shortcodes https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
    2. Tweak the photo view using the themer’s guide

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
