ParticipantHi Geoff,
Picking up where we left off with this:
** For Geoff B. ** – As discussed – WPML batch duplication/ display
REF: Displaying event in default language if translation has not been completed. You mentioned back then:
As a side note, I received confirmation that we will be able to add the “Blog posts to display” functionality. However, this needs to go through the full dev cycle. The good news is that, as you know, there is a great amount of effort being put forth in bringing this whole thing to the next level.
How are we looking with this 4 months down the line, please?
Thanks all the best
Greg

MemberGood evening Greg,
First of all, let me take a moment to wish you a happy new year.
All the best to you.As for your question, this specific feature is still on our to-do list and we are still working with the WPML team to increase compatibility between our plugins.
The top priority for now is releasing full Event Tickets Plus and Event Tickets Compatibility.
All resources are dedicated to that and to fixing any bug that might arise in the meantime.Sadly, before this is completed, it is unlikely that the other feature will be addressed.
I realize this must be quite frustrating for WPML customers such as yourself.
Thank you for your patience as we try to juggle several important new features requests.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantThanks Geoff. Happy New Year to you too.. I think I already said that in another thread… but once more won’t hurt!
What is your timeframe for completing for Event Tickets Plus and Event Tickets Compatibility please?
We will have to look into customisation then as we needed this feature 4 months ago. Who of your recommended customisation partners would be best do you think?
We have a similar issue with a different plugin which creates custom posts. They have suggested included these post types within the theme’s loop to make this work. What do you think?
Thanks, Greg

MemberGood evening Greg,
Thank you for your answer.
Our goal is to be able to include Tickets compatibility in 4.5 which should bring us somewhere in March if all goes to plan.
I have not personally tried our recommended customizers, but I know for a fact that they are all very competent (otherwise they would not be on that list).

That is a great idea and approach.
On a related note, I just found out that it looks like another one of your suggestions might make it at the same time or, if we are lucky, sooner: Reproduce built-in WPML functionality for Events (Blog Posts To Display)
If I recall correctly, that would also solve your issue.
Have a great day!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
