Filtering on additional fields

If I have pro and filter bar, can I add additional fields and filter on them?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.

Yes with both Pro and Filter Bar together you can use the additional fields created in Pro to filter them in the Filter Bar.

If I have the filter bar, but not events calendar pro, can I use advanced custom fields (http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/) that I have added to my events to filter?

It is possible to add a custom filter to the Filter Bar we do not have any good resources on how to do it and it will involve some advanced level coding to get it all to work.
