Participantstart with a filtered list view (by clicking link in nav bar) – calendars/category/children/
click on “month view”, get the correct filtered view – calendars/category/children/month
but when you click on “view all 4” of a day to see the remaining events for that day, you loose the filter, page is calendars/2013-08-14/
we have close to 1500 events and 30 event categories and anywhere from 3-20 events per day, so it is important to see the filtered category in day view when clicking “view all”. I have tried enabling javascript instead of ajax to control page load and that doesn’t help. Also, we’ve disabled the event search bar per client’s request.
Is this a possible or known bug? Couldn’t find anything else on the forum..
thanks!

MemberHey there jeataylor! Yes, this one is unfortunately a known bug in the current codebase. See this thread for more context: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/nextprevious-month-links-do-not-work-with-category/. We’re working on a patch for the forthcoming release and really appreciate your patience in the interim. Please let us know if you need anything else!

ParticipantRob,
Thanks for your reply. Is there a public list somewhere of all the known bugs that you are working on? When I find something buggy, I try to search the forum to see if someone else has reported it before I post.I appreciate all the effort that you and the Modern Tribe team are making on this newest release. Having just been slammed on my own project, I know what it’s like!

MemberHey again Jeataylor! Thanks for the follow-up here. This is a really good question…we are working towards a system of establishing a monthly/active list of “known bugs” now that 3.0 is out; and I suspect once we get the impending maintenance builds out the door, we’ll have that finally in place (for the next release). But at this point we don’t have a currently-active issue list beyond the “Useful Code Snippets” in the sidebar.
Sorry I couldn’t offer you more here. In the interim, know you can reach out to us (pro /a/ tri.be, or on Twitter as @moderntribeinc) to check if a bug is on the radar at any time.
