GuestHi,
I’m looking for an event booking plugin for my wordpress website. Before purchase your plugin, I would love to double check few functions of The Events Calendar.
Brief background, we offer photography class for 6 attendance monthly, and we would like ability of:
1. Add a customize form to gather additional information (ex. what’s kind camera do you use?)
2. Move the attendance on the backend from 1 event to another when she/he requires to reschedule her/his class. And the original event should show up an empty spot automatically.
3. Gift certificate option. We can sell the class as a gift certificate, and once the gift certificate converse into an actually attendance to one of the class, we can pull his information to the event from the backend.
4. Add the event and attendance information to my own icalendar or google calendarThanks a lot!

MemberHi Yujie,
Thanks so much for your interest in our products! I’d be more than happy to answer these questions for you today. 🙂
- Attendee information functionality is included as part of Event Tickets Plus and will allow you to add any form fields you’d like to your tickets. This will allow you to gather as much information as you need from your attendees, and you can save fields to use again on future events, as well. You can read more about this feature on our Knowledgebase here!
- If an event needs to be rescheduled, it’s as simple as changing the date (and time, if applicable) when editing the event and publishing the changes to your site. The event will be moved to its new date on all calendar views, and all of its associated settings, tickets, and so on will remain intact.
- While we don’t have gift certificate features built in directly to our plugins, you could easily achieve this functionality with Event Tickets Plus using WooCommerce as a payment processor. You can create a WooCommerce product for your gift certificate with a price assigned to it, create a coupon code that deducts the same value from your cart, then have this coupon code sent to your gift certificate buyer after purchase. When they’d like to register for a class, they can use this coupon code at checkout to reduce (or eliminate) the registration fee. There are also a number of gift certificate add-ons available for WooCommerce that should work with Event Tickets Plus.
- This Knowledgebase article should walk you through the process of exporting attendee data for any of your events.
I hope that helps to answer your questions! Thanks again for your interest, and let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with!
