ParticipantI have realized that the aggregator does bring the imgage over into the Events Calendar back end. However, it does not set it as the featured image.

KeymasterHi Ron,
Thanks for reaching out! Could you please send me the Facebook link you’re using so that I can do some testing on my end? Also, when you say the images are coming into the back end, do you mean that they are being imported into the media library but not set as the featured image for the event?
And one last question…does this occur with scheduled imports, manual imports, or both?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ron,
I just had another user with this issue report that they were able to resolve it by updating the plugin. Can you give this a try and see if it helps you as well?
The current versions are:
The Events Calendar – 4.6
Events Calendar Pro – 4.4.17
If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
This is occurring on all of my imports. This is one of the many links. https://www.facebook.com/parnassusbooks1/ The one event for this venue that has an image displayed was set manually.
You are correct, it is importing into the media library and not setting it as the featured image.

KeymasterHi Ron,
Thanks for sharing that link! I tested it out, and it is importing and setting the image correctly on my end (see screenshot). Since I’m not able to recreate the issue, this could be due to a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Could you do a quick conflict test and see if you are able to find anything? If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
We have also released new versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.1), Events Calendar Pro (4.4.18), and Filter Bar (4.5.1), so please make sure you’re using the current versions when you do your testing.
Let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
