GuestHi
Looking to purchase Events Calendar Pro for a not for profit website.
I would like to have people able to submit events so we will also purchase Community Events.I am wondering if there is a feature or a way we can have our organisations and other key community organisations events feature on the website front page on other events on another page.
I am also wondering whether Events Calendar works with Divi from Elegant Themes.
thanks

MemberHello Andrea and thanks for reaching out! I’m stoked to hear you’re looking into PRO and Community Events. 🙂
PRO does indeed include a number of widgets, one of which features events from a specific venue. You could certainly add as many of those widgets as you would like to feature specific locations.
Similarly, the Event Advanced List widget will allow you to filter and display events only from certain organizers, categories or tags. That would be another option to consider.
I have seen reports of issues between The Events Calendar and Divi in the past, but those were a while ago and I haven’t seen anything pop up recently. Then again, it’s always a good idea to test. In fact, trying out the free version of The Events Calendar is a good place to start since it is the core foundation for all the other calendar plugins. We also have a full refund policy on any purchase within 30 days with receipt, so that should give you a fair amount of time to test the premium plugins as well.
Speaking of purchasing, you mentioned being a non-profit. Please do check out our non-profit program to see if you qualify. If you do, you could get the plugins for free. 🙂
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.
Cheers!

GuestThanks Geoff
Looks like the group is keen to go ahead with the plugins.
They are currently using Events Manager: https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/
Is there a way to import current events listed on the site into your plugin?
Thanks

MemberExcellent! So glad to have you and your team aboard. 🙂
Good question regarding importing events. The easiest way would be to use the CSV Importer that’s included in The Events Calendar. In other words, you would export your existing events, venues and organizers into CSV files and use those to import the events into The Events Calendar.
We have a guide to help get you started with the CSV Importer, and another one that includes sample files you can use for reference. I think those will be super handy as you make the migration.
Cheers!
