Bartek
ParticipantHi,
After attempting an upgrade through my admin panel where the upgrade just seemed to hang, I now get this error site wide:
“Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__Tickets_Plus__Commerce__WooCommerce__Main’ not found in /home/bartekl/www.globalmindenglish.com/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/Loader.php on line 66”
For the past month there’s also been some sort of reminder at the top of my admin panel to update one of your plugins as it was somehow interfering with woo commerce. I can’t remember the details cause i` didn’t have time to give it attention since it wasn’t interfering with anything. Maybe this is related somehow. Anyhow, I’m rather close to the white screen of death, – that error. Any quick fixes? I don’t want to delete the ticket plus folder to find I’ve also deleted all my events and tickets.
Thanks for any help.

ParticipantHowdy Bartek,
I would love to help you with this.
It is very likely that performing a Plugin: Manual Update will solve this problem. As the tutorial their outlines it basically entails deleting the tickets plugin folder, and reinstalling. This should not remove any data. However, WordPress always recommends making a backup before updating (Tutorial: Updating WordPress and Making Backups), whether it’s a manual or an automatic update. Usually I don’t because it is rarely needed, but that one occasion you do need it you are really going to regret not making one. So use your judgement here.
Does that all make sense? Did manually updating/reinstalling the plugin fix this? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi,
The manual update helped get me back up and running. Thanks for that. I still have the following two messages in my admin panel despite being up to date.
*The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.1.2. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.
*There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key is out of installs. Visit the Modern Tribe website to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.

ParticipantVery good, I am glad we got that corrupt update fixed for you.
I see you do have a valid Pro license, but it is registered to “localhost”. That’s no worries, we explicitly allow dev/staging servers to not need a license ( Using one license for your live and dev sites ) . But if I were you I would deactivate the localhost license and instead activate the license on your main site, that way your main site will get automatic updates: Tutorial: transferring your license keys
If you follow those steps your live website should now allow you to upgrade Pro to the latest version, and once upgraded the error will go away. On your dev site anytime you need to test out an update I would recommend doing a manual update like you just did.
Does that sound like a plan?
Cheers!
