Fatal error: Class 'Tribe__Log__Admin' not found

• All plugins and core are updated.
• A default theme is active.
• No plugins are active.

When trying to activate Tribe Events we see the following error: Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__Log__Admin’ not found in web/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Log.php on line 59

Has anyone experienced this issue?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Events Calendar plugin. I’d be happy to help you figure out the problem.

It is possible that your version of the Events Calendar was corrupted during an update. Can you try disabling the plugin, deleting it, and re-downloading through the WordPress Plugins interface?

Yes we tried manually downloading and installing the plugins but are still seeing the same fatal error on our staging environment.

Can you manually share your system information via a private reply, as is described on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.

Also, I would like to see what errors are being generated on your site. Can you enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log as is outlined here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress. Once enabled, please try to enable the Events Calendar plugin again. There should be a log file generated in your wp-content folder named “debug.log.” Please upload the contents of this file here in a private reply.
