    Hi Karen,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Events Calendar Pro. I will try to help you get it sorted.

Looking at the errors you posted, it seems the plugin somehow thinks it is located in a directory named “events-calendar-pro.php_” when it should be simply “events-calendar-pro.”

Not sure what could cause this, but let’s start with getting rid of the plugin that is there. If you are unable to delete the plugin via the WordPress interface, you can remove it via SFTP. The plugin will be in the “wp-content/plugins” directory. Please delete the plugin completely, and re-download from theeventscalendar.com. You can just drop the fresh unzipped copy in the same place, or try uploading the zipped plugin through the WordPress admin.

Make sure that the Events Calendar free plugin is installed and activated before activating the Events Calendar Pro.

If you get the same errors again, I would retry the process, but with the Twenty Seventeen theme active and all non Events Calendar plugins disabled, as is described in our Testing for Conflicts Guide.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Sky,

    Thanks for the reply.

I was able to delete the plug in. The file I received from my download is a .php file “events-calendar-pro.php” so when I zip it, it renames it events-calendar-pro.php.zip” so I tried to rename it – same result
Then I tried just uploading the .php file directly into my directory in a file name “events-calendar-pro” and still a fatal error

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function tribe_main_pue_helper() in /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php:41 Stack trace: #0 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): Tribe_ECP_Load(‘’) #1 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(Object(Tribe__Admin__Notices), Array) #2 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-settings.php(327): do_action(‘plugins_loaded’) #4 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-config.php(89): require_once(‘/home1/santafe8…’) #5 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home1/santafe8…’) #6 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘/home1/santafe8…’) #7 /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/index.php(17): require(‘/home1/santafe8… in /home1/santafe8/public_html/karenforsenate/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php on line 41

My download doesn’t have a .zip file

Not sure what else to try to make this work
This has been so frustrating to pay $90 for a calendar just to do recurring events and then it crashes my site.
    Please help

    Karen,

May I ask where you are downloading the plugin from? You should be logging in to your theeventscalendar.com account and going to the “downloads” section. This will allow you to download a zipped copy of the plugin which is ready to be added to WordPress via the “Plugins” interface.

The file “events-calendar-pro.php” is only one of many files inside the plugin, so something is not right. You can read more about installation of our plugins here.

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Sky

I have downloaded this 4 times. There is not a .zip file in my download. There is a stand alone events-calendar-pro.php file then several file folders. The instructions say if you don’t have a .zip file look for a file named events-calendar-pro and re-zip it. I’ve checked all the folders and the only file in with that name is the .php file.
I need a current .zip file for this plugin.

Please provide me with the necessary download to make this plug-in function or refund my account

    Karen
