ParticipantHello,
I have Events Calendar Pro and am running on the latest WordPress. After updating, my website went blank with an error code.
I disabled the Events Calendar plugin and my site is back up. When I try to update again it reads:
Warning: file_get_contents(/home/dkoda/public_html/iamguts.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Main.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dkoda/public_html/iamguts.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 296
Warning: require_once(/Autoloader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dkoda/public_html/iamguts.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 366
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/Autoloader.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php70/usr/share/pear’) in /home/dkoda/public_html/iamguts.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 366
I want to delete and reinstall but then I’m told that I’d lose my data. Will doing so erase all of the events that I’ve input? It’s a lot of wor so I just want to be sure that its my only option.

In addition, before moving forward with anything, I’d recommend creating a backup of your site, just in case.
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Jaime,
I don’t have the Events tab because I deactivated the plugin to get my site back up. Now when I try to reactivate it, it gives me that message.

KeymasterHi Dustin,
Okay, I see. Can you try deleting The Events Calendar and re-downloading it?
As I mentioned before, I’d recommend backing up your site before doing so, just in case.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime
