Hi,
I’ve been using your plugin to success over at http://www.comingupcalgary.ca .
I have been having an issue where the plugin won’t recognize some events and seem to miss them. For example, if you go to the website and categorize by the venue ‘distortion’, it will populate a list of events happening at that venue. But if you look over at their events page, https://www.facebook.com/distortioncalgary/events . It doesn’t seem to populate all of the events listed on the fb page.
March 10, 2016 at 12:04 pm #1087367HunterModeratorHi and thanks for the post,
Before I get to testing, would you mind trying replicating the issue from another Facebook event page other than the one you’re experiencing issues importing from if you haven’t already? Report back with your findings and we’ll go from there.
Thanks again for contacting us and enjoy your day 🙂

Here’s another page example: https://www.facebook.com/greyeagleresort/events?ref=page_internal .
It hasn’t loaded data for zz top, gob, etc.
Thanks for your response.

It seems most of our missed events are coming from pages that are 18+, is there any workaround for this currently ?
March 11, 2016 at 5:16 pm #1088057HunterModeratorHey Myke,
I just grabbed the Facebook URL (https://www.facebook.com/distortioncalgary/events) and entered it into my Organization and page usernames / IDs to fetch events from Facebook import box. After saving, I visited the Facebook import tab in Events > Import and 14 events appeared. I compared the list to the events on Facebook and there were 14 upcoming events as well.
I tested on a fresh WP install, using the default Twenty Sixteen theme. Have you tried reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Try that out and let me know if you’re able to get the correct amount of events importing properly.
Thanks for the response and I look forward to getting this resolved. Have a good one!

in the meantime, is there any way 18+ venues can get imported? or would i have to manually enter all of those events?
Thanks
March 14, 2016 at 10:33 am #1088535HunterModeratorHi Myke,
Unfortunately, the Facebook API limits us from being able to parse the data, so you’ll have to add events marked 18+ manually.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread out but if you’ve got any additional questions or concerns, please open a new one and we’d be glad to help you out. Have a great week and thanks for working with me on the issue 🙂
