GuestHello, I am interested in your events calendar and your facebook events importer. I was wondering if the imported facebook event is displayed in the specific event listed in the calendar. I have clubs adding events to my calendar and if they also have a facebook event I would like to have the facebook event info included in their event info in my calendar.
Thanks,
Graeme

MemberGood evening Graeme and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

The short answer is yes!
Basic event data along with venue and organizer are populated appropriately when using our Facebook Events plugin.
Moreover, as long as the added events are on your Facebook page they will get added.
Finally, you can totally try this out risk-free provided our refund policy.
Let me know if that helps and if you any other question.
Have a great day!

GuestThanks Geoff, I’ll take a look at taking advantage of your refund policy. Do the events have to be on my Facebook page? Will it work if the event is on the client’s Facebook page? I have downloaded the events calendar (non pro) just to play around with it. Is there a shortcode to display a list of events by state or province? For instance, if I have a page for Michigan events, can I use a shortcode to list all of the events for Michigan?

MemberGood evening Graeme,
Thank you for the follow-up questions.

No, the Facebook events do not have to be on your page, they can be on anybody’s page. You can even import from multiple pages if you need to.
You can absolutely display events based on a criteria of your choice (in this case state/province).

To do that however, you will require a copy of the Events Calendar Pro plugin which gives access to a bunch of fantastic features, including shortcodes. You can see them here.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Have a great day!
