ParticipantHi Guys
It seems to be a rough old time for the Aggregator at the moment reading over the posts here. I hope this may be of some help?
Basically (for me) – the Facebook import feature has gradually seemed to work less and less and now I’m at a point where its at its lowest.
I import a one-off, it throws up a 500 error, I then go check my pending imports and it -has- actually imported except for the image. Then I find grey part images in my media library (attached). I then have to manually upload the correct image.
HOWEVER – if it is a NEW VENUE – not already on my list – it imports fine!
Unfortunately 99% of venues are already listed, so this is a daily issue.
Scheduled imports – I’ve pretty much given up on keeping track of as most seem to fail (attached) – albeit some seem to get through but I get the ‘grey’ images clogging up the media library.
I started up a debug log and see the following message all through it: Declaration of Image_Cleanup_Backup_Table::prepare_items() should be compatible with WP_List_Table – I am not a developer but I wonder if its all coming back to something to do with images?
Anyway – you are welcome to have a look at my site if you like and I am happy to send any relevant server / debug info.
Thanks

MemberHi, Paul. Thanks so much for your help here.
There have been quite a few reports of Aggregator’s scheduled imports not working, but the manual imports seem to be working just fine for people.
I also haven’t heard of the gray placeholder/fake images as displayed in your screenshot, nor have I heard of that specific debug error.
Therefore, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:</span>
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
