I am importing events from facebook but they are not showing up in my list.
The import says they already have been imported.
My list counts actually +2 which is not shown anywhere.Please see screenshots.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been experiencing with the FB importer plugin.
I would love to help you with this topic.As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
If you could also provide me with the FB URL you are trying to import from, that would be great.
As for the message you are getting, this is “normal” behaviour. What is going on is that there is a built-in feature preventing users from importing duplicates.
The way this works is that even when an event is deleted by the user, there is still a trace of it in the DB, preventing additional imports.This explains why you are getting the message “event already imported”.
To fix this, you can either:
- Go in the Database directly and remove the “missing” events manually (please make a backup of the DB before, just in case).
- Use a post revision cleanup plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-delete-revision/

ParticipantThanks for the quick response.
I did look in the database now, which made me realize that the post_status was somehow sat to “praft” on both posts – and not “draft”. Just changed them and now the appear in the list. Not sure how this happend, maybe a typo in your plugin? 🙂

I did a quick test to verify if there was indeed a typo in our plugin, but could not find anything.This one is a mystery to me too.
Perhaps reinstalling the FB importer from the latest version of our plugin might insure peace of mind moving forward ?In any case, the important part is that you know how to fix it 🙂
