Facebook 18+ Wine Related Website

Hi Guys,

Love your work with the plugin and it hurts me to say that I didnt realise the Facebook plugin wouldnt work with sites 18+. I didnt see this mentioned at all when i purchased. Only when i came across the API error. Is this something that maybe fixed in the future or should I be looking at a refund?

Our Facebook Importer sales page states:

Please also note: You may not be able to import events that Facebook deems adult in nature, including breweries, bars, night clubs, and adult entertainment. The Facebook API dictates that only public, unrestricted events are importable at this time.

As such, it looks like you’ll be wanting to reference our Refund Policy.

Thanks for this. My only question is are you working on a relationship with facebook to work on a work around on this? If so I would be happy to keep the subscription

It’s not something we communicate with Facebook about. It’s their API terms, not anything specific to our plugins.

I appreciate you wanting to use our tools!

However, we’re not going to pursue this with Facebook. If you pursue it and help change Facebook’s API terms/practices as they apply to your industry, I’m sure many would be appreciative to you.
