Exporting Events as .txt or .csv

Hi there –
We’re about to implement the pro version of your plugin for a local newspaper website. They came up with a really good question – Once all of the calendar events have been input into the system, is there a way to export that data into a .txt or .csv file so that it can be laid out in the print version the newspaper?

I see that there is already an .ics export function but unfortunately that won’t work for our purposes. We need a file type that can easily be manipulated in in-design.

So my first question is – does something like this exist already?
If it does, where can I find it? or

If it doesn’t exist can we pay to have it custom developed for our purposes?

Possibly helpful references:

• We have a CSV importer but not exporter
• Events, Organizers, and Venues are 3 different custom post types so you could technically use the WordPress Exporter tool at your site’s /wp-admin/export.php (exports to an XML file) — then maybe something could be done with that data
